Courchevel Moriond is part of the Courchevel ski area with access to 150km 93 miles of downhill skiing, with 102 marked pistes, served by a total of 67 ski lifts. From Courchevel Moriond you can ski to the other villages of Courchevel 1850, Courchevel Le Praz and Courchevel Village.

The ski resort itself is at 1,650m 5,413ft , so skiing or boarding back to the resort is usually possible. With ski lifts as high as 2,740m 8,990ft , skiing and snowboarding is assured throughout the season.

Skiing

Courchevel Moriond sits at an elevation of 1,650 meters and boasts access to the expansive Trois Vallées ski area. The Mont de la Chambre lift and the Ariondaz gondola provide access to a variety of pistes, including the popular red run, Combe de Plan. With a vertical drop of 1,100 meters, the resort offers plenty of challenging terrain as well as gentle slopes for beginners.

How to get there

 By Air

The nearest airport to Courchevel Moriond is Chambery, 80 minutes drive away.

Annecy, Lyon St-Exupéry, Grenoble, Lyon Bron, Geneva, Turin Caselle and Saint-Étienne airports are all within three hours drive.

The most convenient way to reach Courchevel Moriond is by flying into Geneva Airport, approximately 2.5 hours away by car. Alternatively, Lyon Airport offers a similar travel time, providing good access to the resort via well-maintained roads.
