There is no cheap way to go skiing, perhaps some smaller southern alp french resorts may be a bit more competitive only other option is the Pyrenees.
I guess the cheapest skiing I have found in central Europe is in Italy. |

It's big, crowded, and full of brits, but the snow's pretty good.

I'm pretty much a newbee on this forum, and I can't really understand anybody being intimidated on this forum or any others come to that. It is all about the sharing of information and what we all have in common no matter how in or experienced we are is the love of the mountains, there are some members out there who are very passionate about some of the threads, but I read and then make my own mind up about the topic.I think somewhere out there we have a couple of very sensitive souls, come on guys relax the snow is on the way..... |

It seems an ok resort, there are quite a few resorts in the surrounding area if you have transport, Bad Gastein, Zell am see, etc.

Tend not to detune my ski's any more, I have made comparisons with ski's which have been detuned and have found no difference in performance.

Think your selves lucky with my bandy legs I have always skied with a wide stance even before carvers .
