nearly... Annecy to Paris in January.. nice run pleasant scenery empty roads on a Sunday ...not much busier in Monday...chopped €50 off the cost..

A bit like A roads here without the traffic but they are slower than the auto-routes obviously ..as to the convenience of a car..I was stopping about 3 minutes drive from the Morrillon lift and about 15 minutes from Les Gets and 15 from Pra De Lys and 20 from Morzine....we weren't bored
enjoy yourselves ..(jealousy emanating off the screen) but remember its €50 in tolls from Paris to Geneva on the auto route ..The N roads are all but empty too ..
Having driven for a skiing holiday for the first time this year I found the experience much better than flying ...especially being in the ski area and having the ability to ski different resorts when I want to and the travel experience was much better than being cattle in an airport

so I can't ski next year ...on my extremely stiff 190s ...but then I am built like an overweight brick sh*t house and they are shorter than I am ..just...but I do use softer boots
