I agree with everything freezy says. On the nightlife side of things, not a massive amount in Tux, but there is enough for a short break. Taxi fare down to Mayrhofen was 38 EUR 4 weeks ago. Only thing I would add is another hotel recommendation.

Oh man I am tired today. Got home at 2am, and was in a meeting at 8am :(
On a positive note, had an excellent time in Zermatt, conditions were fantastic!! The long ride down from the Kleine Matterhorn to Cervinia being my favorite of the weekend, but in general it was all good. The sun shone for 3 days, the appartment was great for less than 50 EUR each, the beer tasted good and I had no accidents :P Will post some piccies tonight. P.S. not too shabby on 2 planks, that youngster!! Edit: Just looked at my distances and did 30km on Friday, 35km on Saturday and 39km yesterday, which is not too bad for a wee cruising weekend. |
