Firstly, has anyone any update on Albrecht's condition? I hope he is ok.

A couple of years ago my OH and I flew to Geneva, hired a car and stayed at the youth Hostel in Tignes. They did a brilliant deal.
At the time it was Half Board and lift pass for around 50E a day. Dont know what its like now, but worth checking out I would say. |

Nevis is without doubt a brilliant place to ski on a good day. If I was to ski in Scotland it would be my destination. (or Glencoe).
Perhaps I was a bit harsh - just dont go to Cairngorm!!!!!!!! |

Lynn, I appreciate your situation. I have skied all over the world and in Scotland over the last 35years and have just had enough of Scottish 'resorts'. Too many bad experiences.
When they say All Runs Complete, it usually means complete with rocks, rivers, heather, ice etc. I dont mean to sound unpatriotic, and at the risk of Ross's ire, its crap!!!! |

Just being honest Ross. Where were you skiing today?

Get a cheap week abroad!!!! Lift pass prices in Scotland are ridiculous for what you get, or what you may get!!!
I believe Cairngorm, which has been allowed to atrophy since the installation of the funi, is £29 a day. If you are in Teeside, get a cheap week from any local airport and it will be cheaper than Scotland. PS - I'm Scottish!!!!!! |

Thats spin for you!!! Tony Blair would have been proud of that one!!!

What is that quote? - A bad day on the mountain is better than a good day treating a wall with wood oil!!!!!!! |
