9. I call this sin, “must get my moneys worth” sin! The reasoning and justification for this sin goes something like this. I saved up a lot of money for this trip (or my parents did) and now I want to get the very very most for this money! I will eat all the food I get for free,,and even more (just tuck a bread, cheese, meats for later). I will ski as fast as possible to get as many runs I can get into a day! I will push into lines to get more runs. You all have seen this type of sinners! Nature has a way to teaching them. It is called the Wednesday call! Just visit any sites which provide pictures of groups on “school ski breaks” and you will clearly see those sinners!


Hi Pavelski - This is a particular bug bear of mine. I recently returned from a weeks ski-ing in a 4star Austrian Hotel with 'professional' people who acted like children on a school trip!!!

Even although each earned upwards of 40K they still found it necessary to make up packed lunches from the breakfast bar.

I felt extremely embarassed by the looks of incredulity the waiters gave them when the poly bags were filled to bursting.

I will not be holidaying with them again!!!!

At the risk of sounding facetious, most Canadian resorts will have at least some Canadians there!!!!

Of the resorts you mention, most are tourist based. For a real experience somewhere like Jasper, Alberta would be a good choice. As well as being a real Canadian small town, the Rockies Academy do courses there so there will always be some youngsters around to socialise with.
