Fly Swiss - cheaper than BA (and most 'no-frills' airlines) and free ski carriage!

No risk, high, snowsure resort. Massive great cable car from Vaujany into the heart of the ski area.

Ninety per cent of skiers/boarders in Arosa wearing helmets last week.

Lots of instructors, too, were wearing lids.

I've skied Whitefish in Montana (used to be known as Big Mountain) and it was great (though not THAT big!)

Sadly, no; on the day it was planned, the weather - as forecast - turned nasty. This would have rendered the trip more of a trial than a pleasure. So reluctantly had togive it a miss. Perhaps next time....

Did some fun off-piste stuff through the trees though - and skied down to one of the other railway stations (Litziruti? Molinis?) way below Arosa in the Schnafig Valley. Also did the park - and fell flat on my face!
