Just wondering where J2ers might suggest (and to make it crystal clear I have no interest whatsoever in scuttling deep into Austria and going to Niederau! )

Suggestions gratefully received. Thanks.

Zermatt is top of my wishlist. I'd also try Adelboden, Jungfrau, Davos area, and Laax.

Careful with Adelboden as you know I'm off there in March 15cm Lower slopes
There is some more snow expected

Tony_H wrote:The north east coast of Spain is somewhere we used to go to for years in May, nice and warm but not hot. Beautiful scenery, lovely little coves, traditional catalan fishing villages, great seafood, paella, east of Girona is where you want to aim: Calella de Palafrugel, Llafranc, L'Escala, but avoid Estartit and Rosas.
Cheap flights to Girona or Perpignan, only an hour from Barcelona, and you can drive up into Andorra easily too. Also cheap flights to Perpignan which most people seem to ignore.
Why did I stop going?????

Been to Calella de Palafrugel many times beautiful place, got a little on the expensive side so we moved on
