I'm flying into Basle in twelve days and I have booked my hire car from the Swiss side (Avis) does anybody know how far the walk is 8)

Countdown continuing only 12 days and counting, I have been lazy since my return from LGb I was even thinking of letting the local ski shop service my skis but no I'm back the not so lean fighting machine. Got a couple of days off work so today after taking Little Wickham to school I'm into the garage repair a couple of scratches to Mrs W skis and then edge and wax, I'm getting in the mood, I've just booked the hire car on the rest of my air miles, so we are are starting to a rocking and a rollin. Adelboden here I come...... 8) 8) 8)

I remember one of the first self drive trips we ever undertook, I read that credit cards were not widely excepted in many garages, a load of garbage we drove through France, Belgium,Luxembourg, Germany, Austria, Switzerland and finally Italy not one garage refused. :wink:

I'd love a dog but I'm not allowed as OH isn't an animal person and we are both out all day.
