still no news on when GoPro are actually going to dispatch my order. All paid in advance when estimated dispatch was 30th Nov... then nothing. Tried emailing and they just auto-reply saying they hope to deal with the inquiry within 2 days. Anyone UK ordered & actually got their Hero3 Black? |

Forget that. The container is just sat there with snow on the roof, and the snow plough just making a pile next to it. DOH! :oops: |

Caught by webcam, they're scooping the snow off the road into a container - for using/storing somewhere higher up the mountain, do you think?

I think we must be so desensitised to dangers & risks because of the artificial world of theme-parks and the H&S culture we live in.
We then put on a 'holiday head' mentality and forget that we really are in a mountain with all that nature can throw at us. Good calls on the telephone numbers and pocket information we should be carrying. :thumbup: |

Spent a good proportion of the day putting up tacky bright lights on the house.
Two good things about them are how much better the house looks again when they're gone..... and after they're gone, skiing will be only a few hours away! |
