In view of the limited time, maybe consider staying in Breckenridge, and skiing there and Keystone. A-Basin has one of my favourite runs.

Hi Franciose,
Welcome to J2ski. Glenshee is a really good ski area, but the cover is not good this season. It has runs on both sides of the road, including some challenging runs. Accomodation is not good. The local Spital of Glenshee hotel has been let go, so much so that you can get b&b for £7.50 ~ just don't expect hot water. You also do need a car, both for the hotel, and to get to the ski centre. A better bet would be to stay in Braemar ~ it has a selection of Victorian style hotels. You would have to check if there is a bus to Glenshee. You can get a train to Aviemore, where there is a range of hotels and b&bs, and a ski bus to the slopes. The coverage is much better. Before committing, do check out the weather. The key feature this season is the 50 ~ 100 mph winds! |

BE, that's a FOWL. It is quite clear you are a bit rasher than the rest of us, but you are not allowed repititions of puns. It is against the game rules. |

Söll is a good thought. It is a 5min skibus up to gondola, but a greatvillage ~ visit the village church, 14th century, with superb ceiling paintings. Stay at the Posthaus if you can, but a weekend may be difficult.
Travel suggestion for Söll. Train from Munchen Ost to Kufstein. Dep 12.50 arr 14.03, 18.6 Eu, change once Dep 13.40, arr 14.32, 20.5 Eu, no change Dep 13.50, arr 15.04, 18.06 Eu, change once If you have not used German trains before, when you buy your ticket, you will get an itemised itinary, detailing times, stations, platforms. Then get a taxi from Kufstein to Söll. About 25 Eu. So overall cost may be slightly higher, but it will be quicker, and it will be to the door of your accomodation. I may come across and ski with you..... |

On the plus side, there doesn't seem to be anything about having to wear a helmet.
Nor the other bit I always avoid, any company that demands you to use a guide off piste. Nothing there about that. |
