I'm going on Thursday also, but will have to forgo the pleasures of a 1pm meet as I need to get back to Paddington railway station to catch a train. Never mind....
Sounds good! I'm entering.....

But when they write program, do they mean programme? This is the United Kingdom, after all (but sadly becoming more like the United States of Kingdom each day!!!)

Pleasant enough town (definitely not a village!) and some of the skiing is excellent, but the lifts are old and not terribly well connected in some sectors. A fair bit of poling and one or two rope tows!

Espace Killy or 3V

If going to Espace Killy, I think Val D'Isere is better than Tignes. More interesting resort and easier access to the very best skiing in the whole area.

However, the Three Vallees does have one of the most under-rated and therefore quiet ski mountains, La Masse, above Les Menuires. Brilliant!

The offer of a lift is extremely kind!

With regard to car hire, I don't want the burden of a vehicle for the fortnight, so will have to use the coach transfer from Reno (unless it's Swisserland!!)
