Never stopped there but skied there often fron La Ros and Courmayuer...I like the resort ..seemed very friendly and affordable ...the runs down to the village can be narrow or long and flat but there are a couple of blacks that cut the worst of it out ...the lift pass allows a couple of days skiing in other resorts and there is a free bus between there and Courmayuer

Done it from L'Havre to Grand Massif and that was easy in day via Paris but cost about €80 each way ..my preferred route , which I have done a couple of times, is via Lille and Luxembourg (fill up there the cheapest fuel in Europe) and then down the Autoroutes ...a bit longer but a good saving and can be done in the day..its definitely worthwhile for 2 but the main thing is the freedom while you are there..In That region you can go to 3 or 4 major skiing areas in a week ...

According to the HSBC web site you should be covered for skiing ...I know my RBS annual one does and if you have affected the acl the best bet is to get a decent knee support ...it worked for me
