well I'm not quite 70 (65+) and can ski ....a bit ,,,do i qualify ..and i would walk 5 miles..so long as its flat :P

so is not Alpe D'Huez not in the Alps ...and having looked at the map you have to go through ...or past Lyon ..also 200k is only 124miles and I think most of them are going up and down! :roll:

Don't ask Daved for directions La Plagne and Alpes D'Huez are about 3 hours apart!!

You have to go near, or to, Annecy to get to both of them and last I heard they were both in the Alps in a similar area :roll:
