LOTA wrote:That's a shame, Tone. I've come round more and more to Switzerland as a skier making my own arrangements it works out less expensive than France - and the quality of service is so much better.

Zermatt is one of the world's classic resorts- and should be sampled at least once in a lifetime (although I accept it is seriously expensive when you get there!)

I to like Switzerland, but it is expensive, but as the man above says you get what you pay for,but I certainly do not feel the need to sample Zermatt, I can live without that

I don't think that there are too many Gypos that go skiing

Very true but theres loads round here. Just on to the bloke who sold me the w/talkies and i can send them back and he will replace them. So he says anyway

I think you will find that you will pick up other users even in the alps, it is normally short sharp conversations of " Where are you " " I'll meet you " when I use them....

If I were you I wouldnt worry. But I'm sure someone will tell you that is not the correct approach.

Its not the correct approach, and had you been stopped by the nasty Gendarmes they would have issued you with several on the spot fines at least.

You defo should not go without your V5 as its the only way to prove the car is yours. I had to show mine at Dover once.

The wise man speaketh, totally agree, we should not be encouraging people to break the law
