To a certain extent yes, for me transfer time is a factor. By the end of the journey I'm like a caged animal. Sick of being cramped up and shunted from one place to the next on somebody else's schedule to somebody else's rules, and being patronised occasionally along the way. Door to door took 11 hours for us on the last holiday. An extra hour or two and I might just have lost the plot. Seriously thinking of driving next time.

Thanks Dave. Well chuffed. It was the only run I hadn't done and was my goal over the New Year but I didn't do it at that time. I didn't stop grinning for hours afterwards! Amazing end to the holiday.

Aha! I know where it is now Dave. After the hut where the blue meets the black you can either go off the edge or around on a short road, on the corner of the road, turn around and look backwards and it's there. That explains why I missed it when I skied down. Was pooing myself and not up for looking at the view. Just wanted to get on with it and I didn't stop on the corner :lol:

To the right of the Lanerkopfl? Ok I be checking Google Earth this afternoon to get my bearings. How did I miss that?
