Tube Socks are up there with the most useless ski things. There is a reason why all socks are shaped.

Sorry Ali i was not takeing a stab at you.
luckly we only live 25 miles from a dry slope. i ski every wednesday and have improved so much by doing this. I was once told it is easy to lurn to ski and very hard to master. Which i think everyone can agree with. Also the instructor i have is brilliant and spends 30 mins every leason doing balence exercises and things liek that and i cant think that i have fell over properly in the last year on the dry slope. The time i did i was trying to ski parell backwords and cought the back of my skis lol. |

The most pointless thing i have a was a over sloder ski carry. that takes abotu 10 mins to fit it and if you do it slightly wrong it just slides down and then it is completly useless. we bought 4 of them as well..

I would deff recomend takeing some group leasons on a dry ski slope. The snow domes are just a bit of a rip off.
In glouster you can get 2 hours of coaching and 1 hour of free shkiing 30 mins eather side of the leason for £15. when it cost you £25 for 1 hour of recreational skiing at tamworth on a very over crowded slope. So unless you are roleing in money go up the the dry slope and give it a go and i promis it is not half as bad as everyone makes it out to be. Also how can anyone expect to improve your skiing when you go skiing once a year for a week. skiing takes alot of practis. |
