I can only image the bollocking Tim got (Tim's Highlight of the week) lol. well i hope you had a good holiday apart from that and the fact you got better boots out of it is quite a good plus.

I have done this not this time but last time i snowed. i took my blades and my mate took his board it was lot of fun. also with golf courses the grass is kept nice and short so you don't need a lot of snow to ski on and there are no rocks.

I have the Salomon suspects and they handle very well on the piste and good in powder as well.
I would give it a go the worst thing that could happen is you don't like them, then you can just take them back and swap them for another pair. |

itrail map 3D is the one i have seen it is 2.99 and it plots your root on a map plus a few other things. i have not used it myself but looks cool.

i did the salomon ski binding course and it does seem that you binding setting is a little low. should be up round the 6-7-8 mark. depending on a few factors. have a look and see if you can work it out on this chart you will need to know you boot length to work it out correctly.
