I didnt mean rough accomodation, I too have been very lucky on occasion!! I just meant that its a risk. I'm not fussy where I lay my head as long as its clean, warm and I can ski!!!!

I think the general rule is, if you are particular about what you want, and when and where, pay the premium and book early. If you are prepared to put up with travelling to various airports and roughing it in less than ideal accomodation, then hang off and save a few quid.

Hey Bandit! Like most people, I may be patriotic but I am most certainly not a nationalist!!!! I actually think the Scottish Parliament is a needless extra layer of bureaucracy discussing petty insular issues. A kind of National Council if you will. I didnt vote for it.

And I think Alex Salmond is a smug, overblown,self interested clown!!!( Bit like Gordon Brown actually.)

In fact if Scotland were to become independent I would move to England!!! Rant over!!!

Good advice from Tony about taking the bus to Montgenevre, although it is a good fun day out to ski it if conditions are good. My partner and I managed it, only having to use the San Sicario Gondola(up and down), due to lack of cover.

A place often ignored in this area is San Sicario. The runs there are brilliant wide reds and its pretty quiet. Just dont miss the last link back to Sauze!!!!
