Does anybody know of any decent UK bootfitters that are capable of sorting out some quite large boot balance issues? Preferably somewhere in the South of England?

Thanks
Just noticed admins signature
Beware - this is a one way ticket for many people; your priorities may change, you may never take another summer holiday again (except to ski in the Southern Hemisphere)...

He's right! I've not been on a summer holiday since learning to ski!

I couldn't agree more with Ise and Admin about skiing posture. I remember last year I spent the first two days absolutely dying. On the third day I had a 1 hour private lesson and then bingo, the rest of the week was a breeze. A day of Sitting back on the skis must be one of the most tiring activities you can do.
I adjusted the canting on my boots the other night and felt a big improvement at the local dry slope. High on my new found 'flatness' I thought I'd better check my Girlfriends boots - whoahhh! They are miles out. I knew that she was a bit knock kneed but blimey.

See Here

The boots are Atomic B7's which we specifically chose as they have a very wide toe box (and yes we know they are mens boots). Unfortunately they don't have any canting adjustment and even if they did I don't think they would adjust the amount required.

So, what are our options? Her skis are Atomic Balanze which have the 'slide on' bindings rather than screw on so does this rule out wedges?

Any advice on this would be a great help.

Thanks
OK but why soft wax for warm snow? Why not just always use hard wax?
Is soft wax 'faster' than hard and therefore more preferable if the conditions permit it?

I've seen them salt the coarse for races on TV but can't for the life of my remember why. Is it something to do with getting the coarse to melt and then refreeze harder?

I understand why deep base structuring helps to reduce water suction with warm snow and that fine structuring helps to reduce the surface area to stop hard ice crystals 'grabbing' the base but why soft wax for warm snow?

I'm sure it's something obvious!

My advice for spinning would be - If you have a heart rate monitor - leave it at home!

What you don't know about you can't worry about :D
