We loved skiing down " on the sunny side" towards Champagny from the top of La Grande Rochette cable car. It is quick and easy access if you are based in Plagne Centre, Villages or
Aime 2000. "Borseliers" at the bottom of Borselliers chair lift offers tasty bruschettas. Pierre Blanches" is a lovely tree line run towards Montchavin with Mont Blanc massif views and a nice restaurant at the top of the PB lift.

Zermatt / Cervinia should be open on a glacier

Hi,

We are tempted to go to Dolomites this winter:)
Cortina d'Ampezzo is high on our list.
However as the local ski area is not very large we would like to know how good is the link to Alta Badia (Armentarola, San Cassiano).
Is it possible/practical to travel between the 2 areas without a car and return to Cortina at the end of the day's skiing?
Does it take very long?
