Ive just booked the Obermair I always leave my skis and boots in the Crystal Office when I come off the slopes next to penkenbahn then have a Few beers around Town For a small weekly fee.Last 2 years Ive been up on the Ahorn on my first day just to get Ski legs in and its not so busy finish off with long EbbenWald run into MH and then have a Buttie at Hans the Butchers across from Penkenbahn Best Sarnies in the world. then get bus up to finkenburg and do a few runs over there Penkenbahn gets to Busy. :roll:

Ski Welt is a fab area to ski Been skiing in Austria 35 years and would return year after year. I would definately try other areas on the new pass Quality as youll find you can have superb skiing and Apre ski Enjoy :-)

Andy going back again in March as its will be my 4th pilgrimage its trully a wonderful area I also have a day up Kaltenbach, Zell am Ziller and Gerlos. The Hintertux is a great area the snow conditions even at thhe end of march are still good. Tony told me about the areas 3 years ago and have got to agree with his info Red 7 has to be done first thing in the morning Eggalm is lovelly what hotel or chalet you in theres some smashing bars for Apre enjoy it :-0

When in April? You need to be high up Kaprun, Stubai, HinterTux are all glaziers'I would have to recommend
Mayhrhofen again is low down, the First week in April is Snowbombing Party where if you like Ibiza with Snow thats the place to go. I have mates staying in MH till 14 April.Theyll be skiing every day. Soll unfortunetly is quite low down I cant comment on Alpbach however St Anton looks a good bet theres still, 4.5Metres of snow there. Austria is a good choice and I would recommend it to all beginners |
