Thanks for all the replies.........

Wanderer - I do the organising because if he did it it would be return flights via private jet, helicopter transfer to resort, 5* hotel etc etc - if it's a boys weekend then he can have Jet2, B&B and kebabs with his Jagermeister!

Scarlet - Schladming is comingup favourite for the group hol next season - Sport Royer/Royal hotel looks good - we'e also mid 30's so looking for the same I would say - nice hotel, central accommodation, apres ski and snow sure.

Ross - Scandinavian girls......don't even tempt him!1

Saalbach was the best ski w/e we had with another couple - pints of wine served up the mountain whilst sitting ina deck chair.....needless to say no idea how we got home that night!!

Cham we do fancy very much.............it'll be a hunt for cheap flights and base it on that.

Thank you all
Well yes I like your thinking, especially since I bought him a ski weekend last Xmas which he went on 2 weeks before the gang trip and returned with a broken hand, hence the gang trip included a very depressed boarder with a red plastercast! (He did come in hand to look after the kids though!)
Question for the ladies.

HHhmmm I have been called an ice queen before now............but hey, I'll be in Kaprun in 26 days!!
It's that time of year when my other half starts pining for a boys weekend away. They're all boarders, up and out early but always back in time for the apres ski.

Where was/would be your favourite resort for a weekend break?

Rose if this is of any help.......we've been to Lapland 9 times (sad I know!) and I always wear make up and have never frozen up so to speak even when inside your nose freezes!

I wear Clinique and Clarins make up and always found it fine.

Hope that helps a bit :)

Just wondering if anyone has stayed at this hotel before. Hoping it'll be great for the children too and well located as not been to Kaprun before.
Thanks I'll check it out.

All the more money for apres ski!
Hi

Can anyone recommend a catered chalet for a ski holiday next New Year ie 12months away. Needs to be good for adults and children - the women all liking a bit of luxury too!

No more than 90min transfer, shorter the better. Well located as some of the group don't ski, preferably with a nice resort centre a short walk.

Thanks
