New ski helmet

After nearly getting knocked out last year  OH and I both invested in helmets. Best thing we ever did.
They are warm, very light and with the small visor on the front, keeps the sun out of your eyes if you are just wearig sunglasses. I reckon mine looks good too

The kids are all up for new ones this year as their heads have grown
Hi guys

Ihave jsut read through this whole thread - at work mind you - and talk about laugh :D all my collegues keep looking at me wondering what I am laughing at.

Seriously though, I agree with most of you. I had a couple of bad knocks last year on the slopes and I had seen those people downing it over lunch. I like a wine with lunch and (quite) a few reds with dinner but with 3 kids in tow, try to keep it within limits.

Ally, I can relate to your story about the mushrooms. Happened accidentally ) to me in Bali when I was in my early 20's when I traveled there with more 'knowledgable' friend. I was a bit naive I think .

Last year me and my family went to Les Menuires, this year we would like to change to another resort, but we're afraid to chose appartment or hotel far away from the slopes.
I have another issue - my youngest soon will have ski courses for the firts time, so it would be important to stay near the French Ski School.
If someone could help it would be great..... ski in ski out hotels or appartments near a French Ski School.

Tks in advance and have a great ski season

Why don't you try Austria for a change. Oberlech ticks all the boxes and is ONLY ski's, no cars allowed and everything walking Or skiing!) distance. Ski school located very close to all hotels.

Hi

http://www.tennerhof.com

I have stayed here on 3 occasions - it is superb. We go to Kitzbuehl every year and stay here for one night before joining our friends at another hotel which is Sunday to Sunday. Fantastic food, fantastic rooms/suites with prices to match!
