Far too warm for the snow CANNONS at the moment, unfortunately.

Oh dear....today's update from Solden.

Because of the bad snow conditions in the ski area Sölden (Giggijoch & Gaislachkogl), the opening in friday the 18th of November is NOT possible

The music programme on Saturday 19 November will be held on the Rettenbach Glacier.

It's slightly colder today, but still very mild forecast for the rest of the week. Grrrrrr!

The 3-Vallees lift system is so efficient that you'll be popping in and out of Courchevel, Meribel, Les Menuires and the Maurienne area without really noticing it!

Don't limit yourself to Val Thorens - explore the whole of this massive area. It's very easy to do.

Does anyone still actually wear 'salopettes' - the Farmer Giles-dungaree-style, with the bib?
