My sister started wearing varifocal contact lenses for golf and skiing a couple of years ago.
Don't know anything about them - except she likes them.

Niece wears contacts with both glasses and goggles - has done for years - not aware of any problems.

And on the other side of the valley .......

Go up AND COME BACK DOWN the Bellevarde cable car and infront of you is a great big area called Ski Tranquille.

Several runs and because it is not on the way to or from anywhere will not be covered in bombers whizzing past.

Also down in Val are a few nursery slope lifts - don't dismiss these either, especially if the weather is poor, or poor visibility.

What an interesting question!

I don't know of anything on the slopes but there is a new museum in val D'isere - in the oldest property - about the history of the area.
