Our flight was the last to land at chambery. After that others were diverted to Lyon. Transfer was ok. 3 hours including stopping for 20 mins to put chains on the bus. Skiing today was excellent. All the pistes were like skiing off piste. Warming up though. Rain expected for some of tomorrow, also got windy earlier. Vin chaud improves everything! :D |

For info. I'm super giddy now! 1 sleep (well, 1 more lying in bed thinking about squeaky snow). At least I can catch up with my sleep on the coach when we are delayed in snow drifts :(

Just got the below from Crystal
"Due to heavy snow forecast we're expecting some delays to our transfer programme tomorrow. We'll do our best to get you to your resort as quickly as possible, but please prepare for a longer journey. For instance, consider bringing some extra snacks and water for the transfer." Egg mayo sarnies will be made tonight  |

I had to google what that meant   |

Totally agree there Stevie. I think some peeps forget that this is a free service. So many websites that you go to have 'premium paid for' content. You come here and its all free and from what I have seen accurate. If you happen to take a look at the sheer volume of resorts that are covered, surely you must accept that there may be some inaccuracies. On the other hand welcome to the forum - we are a friendly bunch, feel free to follow our lead. I'm sure your 2 posts so far do not reflect your usual self. Take a seat and enjoy the stay - shame about Bansko :( |

I'd go skiing if I were you  |

The above is correct. Other non Eu countries (Iceland) still benefit from their version of EHIC.
Hope you get better soon. Was it an overnight stay? |
