Sadly us Brits wouldn't do it. We'd be too scared of offending someone.

We did this - they posted them to us a few days before we went then on way home we just took a detour off the motorway and posted them through the door (middle of the night). No hassle. |

When we went there (New Year 2001) my Mum was just learning to ski and my daughter was only 4.
One day we all went to The Planai and as they were unable to ski down to the resaurant they caught a piste basher taxi called the Hopsi Express. It was brilliant! Never seen one since and it was very novel. I certainly remember Mum being able to get around in her normal footwear and the town itself isn't small so plenty to see. |

Samoens is perfect for a non skier and we've never found having to get the gondola up to the slopes a problem either.
It's more than a village really with lovely shops and a botanic garden that's set into the hillside with a tiny church at the top. It has a lake and a skating rink and if you have a car it's no problem to get to Geneva or Chamonix for a day out. |

Hi,
Last year my son went to Les Deux Alpes with these people - http://www.action-outdoors.co.uk/ He's a student and said it was brilliant. All meals were provided and was able to go back to the accommodation for lunch. Food was plentiful, skiing good. Budget - but certanly worth the money. |
