Val Thorens, Three Valleys. Although expensive, it has the widest, flattest beginner slopes you could want. (Like 100 metres wide) Plenty of opportunity to bring yourself on, without sheer terror of steep, narrow, busy slopes. Just be sure to avoid the school holidays, both french and british....

Off to Les Menuires in the 3V again in January.....just wanted to see if anyone had any recommendations for Apres ski? Last time (two years ago) there was a two hour happy hour in the Leeberty nightclub which we took full advantage of, and as we're back up at Bruyeres again, we'll be doing similar, if it's still open? Anyone know? Also trying to find a decent restaurant that doesn't need a gold amex card...the last time we found a cheapish and cheerful spot below the Carlines building, where you could get a big pizza, chips and a couple of beers for about 20 euros...can anyone better that? And what's the going rate for a beer or a Vin Chaud in the Ferme de Reberty these days? And is the Igloo pizza place still open? Sorry for all the questions, by the way.....
Hi all.....anybody out there?
Looking for a catered chalet or self catering accommodation in the 3V for a party of four.
Anybody got any recommendations? Not on a tight budget, but we arent that bothered about the whistles and bells, just want a good feed each day, and somewhere to sleep.....
Hi, we are a group of six, looking for catered accommodation for a week anywhere between mid january and mid february. Ideally ski in ski out, snow sure, with airport transfer thrown in. Not too fussy about star ratings, just need a good base with decent food. Would prefer Three Valleys/Tignes/somewhere similar with a big ski area.....but open to offers
Thanks
Nick
