Austrian weather and snow conditions

The snow has returned, and should put in another 6 in overnight. From my balconies, a late afternoon view:

I will have no problems going for a March return, but I first have Switzerland, two and a bit weeks after I get back from Niederau...

The snow in Niederau for the past two weeks has been a bit temperamental, but I was still hoofing 70km a day, and still finding time to paint. It has been dumping for several days now, and the slopes are in great condition.
I drove over to St Johann yesterday, and the runs there were also in good order. Also dropped off in Scheffau on the way back. All good.

Two more days of mini-snow, then several days of sun. May have a wee tan to take home next week....
Late March Resorts

Obergurgl. I have been there late season for both of the past two years. This included one Easter, when the snow was still very good, a bit slushy at base station, but not much.

Recommend the Hotel Sportiv, reasonable value, ski hire/service in the basement, 15m from the Gondola, access to Hotel Crystal great swim facilities.

Linked with Hochgurgl, and the lift pass covers one day at Solden for an extra €10.

I enjoyed night skiing.

That might be a tad tricky. The BOA have clammed up, other than saying "they are following official policy".
Signed.
It gets worse!

Well they were needing a new dump in Sochi....
What a shambles of a place.
You lot are stringing things together here, you should stop fretting, and bow, (that is bow), to the obvious superior talent of someone who holds the keys to success.

If that doesn't have you all a quaver, I don't know what will.
