Yet again I don't quite understand where Pavels clues are taking us.
I thought we were identifying items in the photos, but know he seems to be pointing us towards a Rossi product range. The Rossi 'Pure Mountain Company' posters at the bottom and the Scratch sticker on the roof rack and references of target audiences and threats that my girlfriend wont be happy if I dont see something (nothing new there!) - for some reason I think I should be saying Rossignol Scratch Girl BC - I just don't know what for. I thought this was about listing items and a Spyder jacket???? |

It says 'Scratch' and has a Rossignol Logo below it. Rossignol do a line of equipment under the Scratch banner. P.S. Pavel was wrong about not being able to find answers on Google! |

What's that under the bench on the left?
Does Pavel have his own personal snow cannon? |

I've been trying to find the Photoshop plug-in that the CIA and MI5 seem to use in all the movies - the one where you simply say "Zoom, enhance. Zoom, enhance".
Haven't found it yet... |

The Salomon S9000 (and I'm assuming the 9000) were the first ski's made by Salomon and the first of the monocoque design. Am I right in thinking the bindings originally attached to those skis may have immigrated to Dorset? |

Do you bother putting a layer of tape on the base to protect it from the edge guide?
PS That's not the a stab at the obvious question. |

Of course I would look at them! My lack of skiing years are a handicap when trying to identify items, some of which are probably older than I am! I get the impression from this photo that as soon as a ski reaches it's 'use by date', Pavel likes to cut it in half! |

I've been looking at carbon poles recently. it seems they're not all that 'new fangled' anymore. If anything they seem to be harder to find these days. In the end I went for some Swix 7075 aluminium poles which are very light and a lot stiffer than the carbon.
I suspect the 'fat' freeski thing that's going on at the moment is making the skinny poles less fashionable and probably has nothing to do with their performance! |
