We've had some wonderful breaks in the UK but we wouldn't have a main holiday here, the world is too small.

Holiday booked today (at last) - 11 sleeps and we're off to Cuba 8)
Mojitos here we come :P :D

Its beautiful like Kefalonia is, but its a little more popular, up market and stylish.

I don't like flash. One evening in St Tropez was enough for me.
The only label I have on the outside of my clothes is my ski jacket (bought for me by my dad who, ironically, is the reason I hate people being flash!)

Have a fab trip Bandit

I've always hated goggles (as Mr Mac and Admin will testify!) but have found a pair that I'm rather happy with - Smiths, paid £40 at the Hemel Snow and Rock, well happy :D

Caron, have a look on Style Holidays website they have some excellent deals on for Greek Islands villa's. Although I dont think Mykonos is for you. We have just got a good deal for Kefalonia, very quirky villa. Hubbys treat as I have just landed the job I have been after, and he's delighted.

Thanks Rose, Kefalonia is definitely an option for us.
We're looking for a club holiday rather than villa this year, we fancy an active one. Sailing round the Greek or Turkish islands is still possibility depending on one major factor, fingers crossed.
Congratulations on the job

my boys came down the black into Val D'Isere and I came down on the solaise express chair lift. It's incredibly steep so I had to look at the sky the whole time, if I'd have looked down I would've been in all sorts of trouble

Tony_H wrote:Maybe now theyre a bit older.......you can all ski off the last run together, and then hit the local bar for a couple of pints, let the kids have a sneaky Jaegermeister, and return to the chalet to havet that glass of wine WHILST SITTING IN THE JACUZZI ON THE BALCONY AT 10pm and not when its ski time!!!

Up until now I think I've been considerate in letting the likes of you have some slope time to yourself, surely you don't want to encourage everyone to catch the last lift  ?

Maybe now they're a bit older...

They will enjoy the cakes from the bakers more, me's thinks

I've had some extremely moist cakes I'll have you know
