Those kind souls who took an interest, sent good wishes and recovery tips following my achilles tendon injury last summer, may be pleased to hear that the injury passed its pre-holiday fitness test at the Sno!Zone at Milton Keynes today.

I stood at the top, a little apprehensively, dropped in and the next thing I knew I was at the bottom with a big grin, like this :D

Skied for about 90 minutes - with no ill effects.

So it's full steam ahead for Zwieselstein very early on Monday morning.

If you want French: Valmorel - the most family friendly resort I've been to - and perfect for beginners.

Every weather forecast I look at is different - some say snow, some rain, one says thunder, one says light snow all week!

Oh what to believe!!!

So, going very early on Monday morning is pretty good timing then!

I'm not grinning - too much!

(And I'm going to get even more in the mood at Sno!Zone MK tomorrow!)

Sliding down the slide for a wee - great fun in the St Christoph Hospizalm!
Tartiflette is great mountain bait; I like a drop of Bratwurst mit Pommes and an assiette du braconnier has hit the spot in Tignes and elsewhere.

Next week, I shall mostlybe eating....don't know...can't remember what my Austrian favourite is (can't stand Gulasch zuppe!)
Nasty!
