Yeah ,MPH and miles,You just change it in the options metric or imperial.Even after you saved your day skiing you can swap between the 2.
Also plots your runs on google map, speeds through out the day etc
Ill post some pics if you want

I also Used the Ski Tracks App on my iphone, which is every good and well worth 69 pence.I left im Km as it seems more.
Day Skied Lifts Max Speed
1 19.9 KM 14.5 Km 51.6 Km
2 20.1 KM 13.1 Km 67.3 Km
3 26.6 KM 19.6 Km 62.4 Km
4 29.9 KM 21.7 Km 67.7 Km

Max speed was always from the blue Button lift in Sestriere to the cafe at the bottom .I found out on day 1 if you didnt let it go half way down the slope you had a long walk.

I'm going in 11 days time to Sauze !

Should be fine ,my friend is there on the 21st march.
The only bare patch was on Piste Blue 82 From M.Frative down to Sestriere.I could see it from the cable car but didnt notice it when i skied down it.But it had been +12-16 degrees for 3 days in a row

Tony_H wrote:It's a lovely ski area. How was the snow, as that makes all the difference over there?

Did you manage to ski over to sauze, montgenevre or claviere?

We Got the cable car up day one and skied down to Sauze. We only just started sking Reds last year so it was a bit much for our first day ,spent most of the time doing hockey stops down the piste,my legs were shot by the end of the day.
We only had 5 day tickets so it didnt include Montgenevre but we did ski down to Sansicario on day 4.
I Thought the Snow conditions were perfect. It was lighly snow when we arrived and the next day ,also the day we left ,plus they were due a dump the next day as well.
When i figure it out ill put some photos up

Got back from Sestriere late Tuesday and had a Fantastic time
After about 10 minutes of landing in Turin i got a call from the hotel (Villaggio Olimpico) say they only had 3 rooms available of the 4 we had booked.Despite us having to now having 3 people per a room it sort of worked out ok ,we got Free use of the Gym & Pool also we all got upgraded to Half board from B&B plus late check out on one of the rooms ,so we could ski in the morning and have some where to shower later on the last day.
I didn't have a lesson in the end ,which may or may not of been a good thing??
The Hotel was quite lively on Italian football night but the the town was dead.We tried Du col hotel bar which had a massive tv screen .But then found a small bar think called Scotti?? Which layed on free Ham,cheeses bread snacks ,which went down well...
I tried most of the Ski runs as suggested on here inc the women's Black Olympic run which i found easier than some of the red runs..Saying that some of the blues runs were tricky in places. I've only ever been to Pas de la casa and found the Milkyway a whole lot better ..

My ski boots came with 2 insoles in each boot but i lost a set.As i only realized a day before my ski trip i used a old carpet tile to make some. They seemed ok but one foot would ache a bit near the end of the day..They may of been a bit thick.
I thought ill pay out for some expensive insoles from amazon. Within minutes of testing them at home my feet were killing me.I tried a few others but none of them seemed great.
I just bought a pair standard insoles from pound land and they feel really comfy
