Sounds great ... have a lovely time and drive safely.
Will be flying to Gatwick on Friday evening, Best Western booked, .. few beers in the hotel bar and off to Hinterglemm Saturday afternoon. Fresh snow forecast for us too .. be nice to compare skiing on snow rather than ice. G |

You should also remember these laws are mainly for the local population.
You will not see many tourists in foreign cars being stopped anywhere for not having the correct winter/summer/all year tyres. In Denmark it is a legal requirement to drive with headlights on .. even in the summer when it doesn't get dark ... foreigners don't get stopped, just the locals. G |

Only have experience with the Swiss vignette ... you can buy them at petrol stations.
