Still tinkering with the ownership thing.
Everyone I speak to says just rent ... you don't have to mess around at airports and if you hit a stone then you lose. I understand both sides of the argument ... but if people improve every holiday then why buy ? I am probably like yourself, where I would prefer to own my own "stuff" ...... Maybe I will have a look at the end of season sales ..... Do you know of any organisation for men where they can go skiing for a weekend if their other halves think 1 week per year is enough ?? G (then I'll get more from buying!!) |

Don't get Ski Sunday over here but my father fills me in on the important things.
I do get Eurosport 1 and 2 ... live skiing every weekend so today was able to see Lindsey Vonn do her thing and then Ms Alcott do the same, albeit a tiny bit slower. Why does she have to wear those pink plasters on her face ? Tony.... what was your first "owned" pair of skis ?? G |

Thanks for the reply, Bandit.
Don't have that card I'm afraid .. and I'm not familiar with Molitor. Though I think it's about 100 metres down the road from from the gondola. Intersport has that fantastic "depot" where you leave your skis and boots every evening. G |

As said ... all been done before ... do a search and you will find the threads.
I don't think I could ski with earphones in ... I need to hear what's going on around me. G |

Sound a bit like Twister !! (not that I have ever tried that)
Think a Wii fitness board sounds like the way forward though .... But I presume alcohol is involved ....... G |

Wow,
I had read before about your knee problem but didn't know about not being able to turn on the right leg. I would be mortified if I had to give up skiing ..... Hope it goes well and you love the board as much as the planks ! G |

Hi there,
I have checked out the discount given by Skiset on this site and it doesn't cover Wengen. The nearest place with the discount is in Grindelwald. I know I will most likely be renting skis from Intersport by the gondola ... does anyone know if it is possible to get a discount by paying up front or have a discount code for internet booking ? Thanks, G |
