Oh I think I will look into the 02 one. I have been warned that where I am going for Summer Hols I could come unstuck as my phone could well pick up from two different networks one of which I am told will be very expensive.

Unfortunately its the second year for me without my snowfix. My health has not been suited for snow as of late. Also have plans in the future to live abroad. But hopefully back to the snow for next season.

Great to hear from you again Rose ...... there is a spare bunk bed on Saturday if you don't mind sharing with Little W

Oh if only. Missing the slopes so bad and all the other activities we used to do in Lapland. And if truth be known I have probably lost my nerve. Would probably need to start all over again with lessons.

The snow in Lapland is very late this year. Ruka's first slopes usually open about mid October but did'nt this year.It is snowing at the moment all over Lapland and they have 5 slopes at Ruka open at the moment. Even though they have loads of snow snow cannons are on most of the time, which is why their slopes are so perfect. A lot can happen in 2 weeks.
As usual I always suggest Seefeld/Austria. Wonderful town, casino lovely shops, restaurant s for every budget. Wonderful spa and pool in centre with outdoor heated pool. Three ski areas all within walking distance but ski buses if you want. 200km cleared walkways for all levels of walking plus x country ski. One of the best ski schools in Austria. Short tranfer from airport about 25mins. Train station in centre so very easy to go to either Innsbruck or Germany. Any other questions just fire away. I have been so many times I know it inside out.
