It's been my experience with operators like Supertravel, Mark Warner, Bladon Lines, Total, Ski World etc over many years that it's common practice in chalets- without bars - to allow you to drink your own before dinner etc - often they have honesty bars with soft drinks, mixers and beer.

Excellent news - and the webcams across Scotland are looking a little more promising (especially as I have a works trip up there next week!)

I much prefer Swiss to any of the other airlines - and it generally works out cheaper with them than EasyJet or the horror show that is Ryan air. They also have plenty of flights each day from City, Heathrow and Birmingham, so you can tailor your travel arrangements perfectly if arranging a shorter or non-weekend to weekend ski trip.

I think Herr Grizwald may have come close to smacking the nail on the swede:
France probably has the better skiing; Austria probably has the better holiday experience. Having said that, I still prefer Switzerland to both!! |

I'm think more along the lines of Schweiz! |

Crumbs! What does 'boar-ing' people involve? It doesn't sound at all boring!!!!! |

Just had a text message from my brother in Alpe D'Huez: 15cm of snow today and still snowing. April trip anyone? |
