Everyone who skis Backcountry anywhere really should carry a Transceiver, Shovel and Avalanche Probe as a minimum. If you don't then you are relying on others to carry out rescue, when time is of the utmost importance.

That the Father Christmas in the Grotto in the Department Store is not real.. That it's likely to be a slightly dodgy old bloke who, for some reason likes to sit small children on his lap....
