Try Garlic Capsules (non smelly ones). Seriously. Garlic can improve peripheral circulation.
Buy some new gloves, I suggest Hestra's with a fleece wool removeable liner.

The Telegraph, Sunday 19th

Sandra Thompson was coming down a slope at a popular Austrian ski resort when she hit her head during "an innocuous little fall" in front of her family.

Although Mrs Thompson was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident, she suffered severe brain swelling and died two days later after relatives decided to switch off her life support machine.

When I was in my 30's I attended a residential week long ski course. Also being collected at the train station by the same co. was an elderly man in his 70's. I remember thinking that I hoped he was in another group as he'd slow our group down.

He was...it was the group that spent the whole week off piste with a Mountain Guide. He was seriously fit. Our group would have slowed him down

I have never seen such awful pink skis in all my life - but here they are:

Mind you, I don't think I could stand ski-ing on these myself, and I AM female

One of my ski Bases is Pink, the other black with the mfrs name. Plenty of blokes have expressed interest in the skis, and said that they liked it, what were they etc. Didn't buy them because they would be a bloke magnet, but hey

Having Pink ski bases is pretty irrelevant, the rider doesn't actually see them. The Missbehaved is a really great ski, with a 102 waist and I'd love to ski/own some.
I choose my ski kit on the basis of what it can do for me, not the paint job, and I am also female :D

Fnarr..Fnarr.

I've been a confirmed lidder for a few years now, but would rather be soft top. Seem to recall that there were some stories doing the rounds about "liquid armour" which is based on Shear Thickening Fluids tech for building into beanies, bobbles and the like.

Have you seen the D3O stuff? It's been around for a while now...

When I read the title of this thread, I keep on visualising small dogs dressed in bib and brace ski trousers

I am not a bad person :D

When choosing ski clobber look for a waterproofness rating. Some fabrics have a membrane, some don't, but can equally as good or better at keeping you dry.
