It's just been about right here, not too much or too little, over the other side of the Rhone it was a bit too large and there was a very high avalanche risk.

The ghost signals were easily identifiable as ghost signals because they flashed a reading for a split second which could not be found again. It was quite freaky though because for a short time you suddenly go into overdrive thinking you've found someone.

That's the point really, if you're familiar with your device then the ghost signals, which are rare anyway, are easily identifiable. And it's no bad thing being able to identify them in case you are in problematic situation like under power lines.

Did you go down towards St Jean perhaps?

No, I went up that lift that's got "Grimentz" written on it, then went left or right, past that place, heading towards that other place but went left or right. Mostly down though. Apart from testing how ski-in/out that new development is, turns out you can ski in and surprise the contractors but it's a 20 minute walk out

Sold the crowds a dummy and they all went another way, so this is mine now.

Not quite first but good enough.

It's that way apparently.

There's an obvious line there.

Up to the higher slopes for a bit, it's good but the forest calls again....

mmmm..... this line is getting a bit popular...

Break left and it's locals only

A nice top up on the levels, been a bit windy and due to stay rather chilly for the whole week. Unfortunately I'm not there

It's been quite agreeable.

LOTA wrote:Ise: thank you - Lenk looks a real contender! Train times fit very well with the flights, a few reasonably priced hotels close to the railway station have availability. Watch this space......
