Mr Btp - you are not going to like this. Hate to bring bad news.

There is quite a lot of flat spots

When you come down the main run into the restaurants, centre of lifts etc it is quite flat (the skiing and boarding starts half way up the hill). From a skiers perspective it is fantastic - some nice wide runs that yoou can go flat out and and easily reach 50mph - bit flat at the bottom, but at that speed it does not matter. I saw alot of boarders doing their funny frog walk

It is marginally better over in Sestriere, but the lifts at the bottom are in one long line.

You need to do what i did with my GF - take up skiing!!! It is much more fun.

Boarding is a dying breed, the average age of a boarder is just below 30* - not really "RAD MAN" 8)

Wee Question About Hydration
Started by User in Ski Chatter, 16 Replies
I use a Tog24 hydration pack, they are good. Enough space for 2 litres of water and also a fleece, hat, chocolate bar. I have never had the bladder freeze and dont have an insulated tube - just drain it back to the bladder after use.

No offence icy, but in the words of Comic Book Guy 'without a doubt, worst review ever!'

No, Adders said do a one liner on what resorts you would like to review ;)

I think adders' idea is the best way. If someone wants to go to France, they will simply visit the France thread and find a relevant resort. With the current method you have to read through all the Austria, USA, Italy to get to France - that could be on page 27 of 100

That's my three penneth. Adders' way rules :D

Maybe we could agree to give scores for ski quality, range for abilities, price of food/drink, quality of accomodation then an overall score. That way, if I give somewhere a 6 out of 10 because the nightlife was rubbish - that might not matter to someone else. Same is I said all teh runs were far too easy - some people may think that is good. What you think - but like trip advisor :)
