No it's not.

The air you breathe on an plane has never been so polluted. What they should do is bring back smoking, Strangely.
When smoking was permitted the air was purified constantly, now much less so.
Coincidently it's a big cost saving for the airlines too which is why they were heavily in favour of a smoking ban. Uses less fuel.

Perhaps we should adopt the Japanese attitude of mask wearing.

The lurgey is still rife in Les Arcs.

Mrs Snapzzz has taken to her bed for the day, i am coughing and spluttering like a 90 year old smoker.
Im currently just watching the weather as its very foggy today, im not a fan of skiing in thick cloud. If it clears i will ski. If not we will go do a nice lunch somewhere.

Happy New Year to all of you!

Terrible timing. Probably the worst illness she's had in at least 10 years.

We're hoping for a rapid recovery over the next 48 hours.....

Oh dear, that is awful, you have my sympathy. Some things have such bloody awful timing.
We haven't been ill in years and now we both have the bug. Of course mine is far worse than hers.

I hope you get some skiing in BB, it must be grim for you having to leave her behind every day. I would feel quite guilty and also worried whilst out.

We have just got back in after a full day just as the snow started to fall. The weather is really closing in now, we are staying in with pasta and beer.....and of course BBCworld news.

Well I'm still skiing, I'm just coughing very forcefully in lift queues and in gondolas. Unless I'm with Brits of course.
I'm spreading the love to the French only

AllyG wrote:Thanks for the news update Snapzzz - Les Arcs is somewhere I've always wanted to go, partly because it's so close to the Eurostar railway station :)

I thought Little Snapzzz was bringing a friend, or was that for another holiday?

It is VERY convienient access wise from bourg but I have to say I won't be returning here.
Don't get me wrong, I am having a ball but there is something about the place I just don't like, I can't put my finger on it yet.
Feel scared - tips?

Top Tip: Go to a ski resort and get lessons.

I am not surprised you are frightened if you do not know what you are doing, you are on a fast track to injury.
Get some lessons on proper skis in a controlled environment and your fear will melt away.
