Tino, you should PM Bandit she has a place in Switzerland, she may be able to advise
I know slightly different my Mum had a knee replacement 3 months ago. She is 77. She did all the excercise, physio, rest she was supposed too. This week she is riding her bike again and doing a bit of light gardening. So there is def hope for some-one that much younger. She says its the best thing (well apart from a hip replacement a few years ago) she has had done and will consider having the ther knee done now.

Ian you definately should try Austria, I think you would be pleasantly surprised. You dont have to go to a more Apre oriantated area, nor a really small village. Why do you think I go to Seefeld, its every-thing I look for in a holiday. And its quite exclusive

The English were fine it was nice to meet up with some of them on the trips. As we dont speak Finnish or Russian those English would have been the only people we spoke to all week

I never pre-book either. Never had any probs actually usually got good deals, in fact usually get xcountry ski's for free with other quality ski/boot.

Yes Rose I agree when will people learn that the TO's are again making more money out of us....

Although having said that we do book snowmobiling, reindeer safaris, huskies etc, those sort of things were way cheaper than booking direct. Plus if you booked with TO you had the coach to get you to these places for free.

I suppose they book these trips especially for the TO's, It does depend on the price difference but I would still prefer to book direct for exclusivity, but that could be an expensive preference. 8)

You could well be right Ian but with those types of excursions if there are not enough people booked they dont run. Plus if you book say with Inghams you usually have an all english clientelle.
