Alistair you're meant to be in the Mad Rebel Hatters Alliance! :(
You also look a little scared Tony  And as you've taken the brave step of posting a pic of yourself in a mad hat you can be an honorary member of the MRHA, along with AndyHull. All welcome. We have cake, beer and snow. Enough for everyone :D  |

I'm sure
Nearest is a dryslope about half an hour away. It was ok to get a pair of skis back on and get the feel of it but nothing like having the option of going proper skiing if you live close to snowy mountains. Seems a little hit or miss in Scotland in the sense that if there's a good dump of snow the roads may make it difficult to get there. Not so much of a problem if you're in the area anyway. |

Maybe some enhanced tuition on how to fall too. Might sound bizarre but in Judo you have to learn to fall properly so as to minimise risk of damage. With over 65's being potentially more fragile it could be a good skill to learn. I know that when I fall now it hurts a lot more the day after than it used to 15 years ago. I'm starting to understand what people mean when they say 'kids bounce'!

I'm in South Wales Nanook. Scotland isn't quite the 'near to me' I was thinking of

Ha ha it's not a helmet any more!
It has now been converted with the clever use of pigs ears and angel wings. Behold the mad hat!!!
Mmmm this cake is lovely, especially with a nice mug of tea. Thanks Mekka  |

Oooh "step into the light CarolAnn"
Sorry I can't. I like hats adorned with bears that look like dogs and have multiple bobbles on them too much. |
