To-night I will be having homemade pumpkin soup, bean ratatoue with grilled salmon. Pudding is home made chocolate cheese cake, lovely.

I'm sure your hubby is a fantastic cook but it one thing doing it at home knocking up very tasty food for you and the family and another doing it for a living, the pressure and organisation required is extreme..... 8)

Thats the reason he does it at home and not for a living. He could not cope with the pressure and he is far to nice a guy to order people around he would end up trying to do every-thing himself.

That makes me feel like a real A-hole, as I seem to do that for a living " Organise people" that is, still if the cap fits........

I organise people all day and I am not an A hole, at least yhey dont call me that to my face

Tony_H wrote:Interesting comments Ian. Of all the places I have been to on holidays, Greece probably has the widest and most varied choice of food. I found such a good lamb kleftiko in 1 restaurant in Santorini, I could have eaten it every night.
I never once got bored of eating Greek food, something different every night, meat or fish.

Apart from a greek salad which I had most lunchtimesI could have had something different every night for a month. It was lovely, like Tony I had my favourite, beef stifado which I could have eaten every night.
Ian dont go to Finland, its reindeer soup, reindeer pasta, reindeer pie, reindeer pizza infact reindeer every-thing

Ian Wickham wrote:I have some great memories of the Greek Islands and have spent many wonderful holidays there, but I really must say that I tired of the food....

I really liked the food but then its not so different to what I normally eat. Only had one thing I did,nt like..........cold lumpy mashed potato with about 6 cloves of garlic, raw. Good job it was only my starter.
