like snowy says, you can be skiing well within yourself and a nice steady pace, but there is always a nutter out there who has no control who could smash into you. we have all seen them flying past on the mountains.

i made my kids wear 1 when learning and it has carried on from there. now i wear 1 because kids said if i make them wear 1 i should too. im glad i do because i fell when in les arcs and banged my head hard and winded myself. that could have been concusion or even a fractured skull.

Ive got no other half to worry about, just the kids and they dont mind where they go like little W. It will be a first j2ski hol for me so i hope all goes well, especially being a boarder lol.

im with you michelle, wish i had done it years ago, didnt learn to ski til 49 and board at 50. im making the most of it. i dont know how long i can keep it up for, quite fit now for 54 (55 in july). live life to the max. enjoy it while you can
