i took my kids snowboarding to the 3 valleys earlier this year, they are 13 and 17. we stayed in brides les bains which is a 30 min gondala ride to the slopes. i wouldnt suggest that to any1, we didnt enjoy the daily journey.
as for the slopes, all 3 of us preferred courchevel, it was fantastic, with wide open slopes and great snow. you will really enjoy it there. have fun though wherever you go. ............ken |

i would say wear a helmet, i wear 1 my kids ages 13 and 17 wear 1. it only takes 1 slip and you could have a cracked skull. think of your family, what would they do without you ?

i learnt to ski at 49 along with my kids who were 9 and 13. after a year my daughter (13) wanted to learn to board because its more "cool" .
now we are all boarders, i would ski again but my kids, now ages 13 and 17 say that they will not ski again because boarding is so much fun, and i must agree, its great fun. |
