I am one of those that Innsbrucker refers to above - a repeat visitor to Seefeld. I can't say that I have experience of many ski resorts to make a comparison, but Seefled seems to suit the bill for us, as next year we will be there for the fourth time in succession. It does tend to attract repeat visitors as we constantly bump into people who are there for their umpteenth time - this trip I skied with people who were on their eighth and tenth year! We have to go during school holidays, and the pistes are quite busy, which is a bit of a nuisance, and I can't comment as to how empty they are the rest of the time.

Nowadays we DIY the holiday because we know the place well enough, but our first visit was with Thomson. We had an apartment a little distance from the centre - perfectly adequate, although I don't think it is offered by Thomson any more.
I always use the Seefeld Schi Schule for lessons - always good. There is another one Sport-Aktiv(?) which I know nothing about.
There are plenty of excellent hotels in Seefeld, and it depends which one you stay in which level of luxury you can expect.

Enjoy yourelves

Already made my Easyjet reservation to Innsbruck for next February. Checked price about six hours later and it would have cost £50 more!!!!

Photos look great, and very tempting. Trouble is, from here, I'd be in Austria quicker.
Glad things worked out so well for you. I would not have the courage, I don't think, totake sucha plunge.
Research Help Please :)
