I'm back off to serre che in Jan again (day trip in o7, week in o8) and i have to say i love the place! Possibly helped by SO much snow falling last year the day after we arrived!! but still...
There has been some improvements there over the past year or so in the lifts but there are still some slow older ones, but what resort doesnt have lifts with 'character'..... |

I have those liners in my existing boots - do you have a technique for getting rid the awful stench from them!! (Girlfriend would really appreciate it too!!!) Liked the way of tighening the laces too!! never seen before. Thanks again. :D |

I've a pair of SP boots at the moment, good boot, but it does my head in (and back!) doing the laces up (its my age, honest). I am considering some boots with the twist type to tighten the boots and the Flows are on the list along with some K2's - anybody got experience of either? Cheers |

I wear a helmet regardless whether i'm skiing or snowboarding on or offpiste. If i look a cock i dont care - it keeps my head warm when its cold, the music plays from the earcovers and the goggles fit well with them.
Oh and when the safety bar gets pulled down before your ready, some out of control skier / boarder hits me, a low branch twats me, someone falls off the chair lift in front of me, someone standing with skiis or a board in the gondola tags me....... the helmet saves me a heed ache.... If your a beginner snowboarder - wear one!! its just one less place to hurt! lol There are loads of different styles out there, look for the one you like (and is less cock looking ??), try it on, with your goggles too. Best of luck! |

I went to L2a 2007 and enjoyed the resort. Loads of runs to choose from and beginners / low intermediates will love the fact they can ski from the top of the mountain!.
If you want to do L Grave..... you need your heed tested! professional snowboarders have died there, so unless your some demon on the planks...... there are plenty of runs at L2A to keep you happy! I friend of mine for something different (and having been all over L2a) took a day trip to AlpDu, hired a guide for the day and had a blast! And he flew over in a helicopter - wasnt too expensive either. The trip up and down each day at L2A is by various (eggs) and you'll soon work them out - we used the RED ones a lot. Great restaurant at the top right next to a STEEP black run.... when they fall on it they go right past the restaurant...... Having been to La tania and L2a - you'l not be disapointed with L2A |
